Today's the Day

Today is the big day for the official rollout of the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare.  The exchanges open for enrollment today and it will be the first day that the great majority of Americans will start paying attention to what it all means.  At this point, most are clueless so let's hope that the assisters or navigators are well versed and ready for the onslaught of questions.  Insurance is a complicated area to begin with; toss in the complexity of health care and wow, the clueless can even become more clueless.  As I blogged yesterday, in my opinion, the Administration hasn't done enough to either explain or sell what it all means to the American public.  There are many who are now joining the Champions of Coverage initiative to get the word out.  I guess better late than never.  For more information on the exchanges log onto www.HealthCare.gov.
