Godspeed, Homer

After 46 years, Homer Hardinger is working his last day today.  He had planned for a number of years to retire on 11/12/13.  Gotta love that sense of humor.  Homer is retiring at the age of 69 as an RN in Perioperative Services aka Surgery, but he still looks like he is 49 and has the energy to prove it.  WMHS is losing a wonderfully positive advocate for the System and our patients.  Homer is always smiling, he's energetic, and he is an all round positive force who will be missed.  Godspeed, Homer, and thanks for all of the 46 years.

As the nurse in the picture above I would like to take this opportunity to thank the WMHS and every employee that I have worked with through the years because it has been my pleasure and an honor. I only had one interview for employment and that was in 1967. So I leave behind many friends and excellent employees of which I am very proud. FONDLY, HOMER R. HARDINGER
